Skin & Sticks is a double-ended, perfect bound book that celebrates and explores the history and evolving meanings of the word “Tattoo.” The entries are arranged chronologically, guiding readers through the semantic journey of both definitions over time.

Uniquely, the book’s cover features a ‘Z’ shaped binding, allowing readers to start from either end depending on which definition they wish to explore first — offering an engaging and interactive reading experience.
